And this is the face of what that Quetzalcoatl evolves into. Drew this BEFORE drawing the hollow form, thus some of the inconsistencies. As you'll notice she's got the snake-dragon skull/mask/hat... but also, her ear-rings are also part of her mask, meant to represent the halves of the snake-dragons hinged lower-jaw. Again... suck at features, but yes... I intended this to have a head-dress vibe to it. Then just a little ceremonial makeup and that's it for the moment.
