Weight of the world on their shoulders

My section got hit with a serious storm over the past couple of days. This was nasty... rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, all that crap piling down at once... and it's APRIL! This pounding has not fared well for those of us caught in her path. That good inch of ice that accumulated Tuesday was bad enough, already causing limbs to break off of trees and breaking power lines, combine that wet heavy snow that fell the night before... and the situation got fundamentally worse.

Not all trees completely succumb to natures wrath, as these Evergreens illustrate... though you can't help but feel sorry for them.
