Posessing untapped mystical abilities, Eledore Mourning was sought out and chosed for indoctrination into the Circle of Thorns.  Despite his bold efforts in holding off his attackers, even his Ranger training proved ineffective against their vile magics.  As so many before him, he was captured and his body became host to one of the many lost denizens of Ornabega, specifically a soldier named Rohass.  That should have been the end of it then and there, but that pesky untapped potential didn't make it that easy.

Unlike the others who'd been turned, a fraction of his spirit remained, desperately yearning to become whole.  A prisoner of his own home, he constantly tested his confines, wearing them down, until he was able to confront the invader and wrest away control of the body.  He had thought it would only be a matter of liberating the thorn which housed his soul to gain freedom once more... but as it was before, it wasn't that easy.

While he was able to infiltrate and liberate his soul, Eledore was unable to completely banish Rohass or his unholy abilities.  It took time, but he and his 'room mate' eventually came to an understanding; neither fitting into their respective words, they now seek to make their own mark upon the City of Paragon.

Not much for this one, simply created a from-memory homage to the Circle, then to civvies, and finally the more bad-assed version, which would have looked even nastier if I kept the red/black colors (I'll have to share it sometime)

Mourning here was one of the first I built after buying into the .99 membership.  Then when it shut down I hunkered down and actually bought slots and costume pieces to keep him updated.  Have to say that the Archery/Darkness combo was a trip... lock them up in tentacles then snipe 'em.  He's the only one of my guys to run missions in the alternate dimension... I was a might bummed out that he couldn't continue some of those without another subscription.
